Best Banting Evening 2010– in support of diabetes research and education
For the second year, the Canadian Diabetes Association, Manitoba & Nunavut Region, will be hosting a special fundraising evening in support of diabetes research and education.
Hosted in the heart of Winnipeg’s Exchange District, in the street level gallery of Red River College’s Princess Street campus, the Best Banting Evening will be a “casually elegant” (and fun) gathering for 200 guests. It will feature fine international food and wine selections guided by culinary experts at various stations, within a free-flowing ambience.
With awareness and fundraising for diabetes education and research in mind, the Best Banting Evening – so named to honour the co-discoverers of insulin, Dr. Charles Best and Sir Frederick Banting – is an opportunity for the community to come together in support of an important cause. In Manitoba alone, more than 76,000 people live with diabetes; another 23,000 are undiagnosed. Diabetes causes serious, life-threatening complications, and our province has one of the highest rates of type 2 diabetes in Canada.

For the second year, the Canadian Diabetes Association, Manitoba & Nunavut Region, will be hosting a special fundraising evening in support of diabetes research and education.
Hosted in the heart of Winnipeg’s Exchange District, in the street level gallery of Red River College’s Princess Street campus, the Best Banting Evening will be a “casually elegant” (and fun) gathering for 200 guests. It will feature fine international food and wine selections guided by culinary experts at various stations, within a free-flowing ambience.
With awareness and fundraising for diabetes education and research in mind, the Best Banting Evening – so named to honour the co-discoverers of insulin, Dr. Charles Best and Sir Frederick Banting – is an opportunity for the community to come together in support of an important cause. For the second year, the Canadian Diabetes Association, Manitoba & Nunavut Region, will be hosting a special fundraising evening in support of diabetes research and education.
Hosted in the heart of Winnipeg’s Exchange District, in the street level gallery of Red River College’s Princess Street campus, the Best Banting Evening will be a “casually elegant” (and fun) gathering for 200 guests. It will feature fine international food and wine selections guided by culinary experts at various stations, within a free-flowing ambience.
With awareness and fundraising for diabetes education and research in mind, the Best Banting Evening – so named to honour the co-discoverers of insulin, Dr. Charles Best and Sir Frederick Banting – is an opportunity for the community to come together in support of an important cause. Best Banting Evening 2010– in support of diabetes research and education
For the second year, the Canadian Diabetes Association, Manitoba & Nunavut Region, will be hosting a special fundraising evening in support of diabetes research and education.
Hosted in the heart of Winnipeg’s Exchange District, in the street level gallery of Red River College’s Princess Street campus, the Best Banting Evening will be a “casually elegant” (and fun) gathering for 200 guests. It will feature fine international food and wine selections guided by culinary experts at various stations, within a free-flowing ambience.
With awareness and fundraising for diabetes education and research in mind, the Best Banting Evening – so named to honour the co-discoverers of insulin, Dr. Charles Best and Sir Frederick Banting – is an opportunity for the community to come together in support of an important cause. In Manitoba alone, more than 76,000 people live with diabetes; another 23,000 are undiagnosed. Diabetes causes serious, life-threatening complications, and our province has one of the highest rates of type 2 diabetes in Canada.
