Evolution Hockey Development is an elite specialized skating and skill development program. We offer programs to players 6 years old to the Pro level. We encourage you to come learn from NHL Legend's BRYAN TROTTIER and THOMAS STEEN.

Junior Jets & Future Islanders SKATING & SKILLS CAMP>

The camp was developed for players age 6-12 years, who want to work on their skating and develope their hockey skills. The program will cover SPECIALIZED SKATING FOR POWER & SPEED ie.(Edge control, Body Positioning, Stride Extension, Edge Control, Tight Turns, Pivots, and Stops & Starts) the second half of the program will cover INDIVIDUAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT ie.(Scoring secrets, Stick Handling, Passing, Shooting, Breakaways) The session will be conducted by BRYAN TROTTIER, THOMAS STEEN, and SHAUN CHORNLEY. In addition local NHL players will be dropping in throughout the week (DUSTIN BOYD-CALGARY FLAMES, DARREN HELM-DETROIT REDWINGS, ALEX STEEN-ST.LOUIS BLUES, NIGEL DAWES-PHOENIX COYOTES) and others TBA. Please note that players schedules change for various reasons and have the potential not to attend for personal reasons. Camp participants will recieve 10 hours of on ice instruction and 10 hours of off ice instruction with our Strength & Conditioning Coach, doing hockey specific training. Players will also recieve an official camp jersey, t-shirt or hat. There will be an autograph session each day. participants are encouraged to invite friends and family to attend for autographs. Our policy is that our celebrity insructors and guest celebrity insructors are very accomodating for autograph requests for our campers their families, and friends. Each group session will cap off at 24 players and the instructor ratio is 1-6 players. The cost of the program is $345.00 plus GST. AA/AAA Prep Camp

The AA/AAA PREP CAMP is designed for hockey players who will be trying out for AA or AAA this fall. The target age players for this program are born in 1997, 1998 and 1999. We GARAUNTEE that after completing this challenging week at camp, you will have the edge on others who you will be competing against for a roster spot for AA or AAA. The program will consist of 10 hours on ice, and 10 hours off ice instruction. On ice sessions will be with Hockey Hall of Famer and seven time Stanley Cup Champion BRYAN TROTTIER, Winnipeg Jets Legend THOMAS STEEN, and three time WHL Champion and 2004 Memorial Cup Champion Former Player Scout from the Kelowna Rockets SHAUN CHORNLEY. The on ice component will focus on the following; Skating, Skills, and Speed Development. On ice Conditioning, Timing/Speed/Agility, and Flow Drills. We will cover body checking and angling for the 1999 born players.

The off ice program will be with our Strength & Conditioning Coach CHRISTINE DOERKSEN. Christine was the 2006 Manitoba Fitness Council Female Instructor of the Year. She will be conducting hockey specific off ice training, focusing on Core Strength, Power, Speed, and Agility. BANTAM DRAFT YEAR PREP CAMP

The BANTAM DRAFT YEAR PREP CAMP was developed for players who were born in 1996. In May 2011 players born in 1996 from Western Canada have the potential of being drafted to one of the 22 WESTERN HOCKEY LEAGUE CLUBS. In addition the 11 Manitoba Junior Hockey League teams will select 1996 Manitoba born players for their Draft. In adition 1995 born players who are eligible as free agent list players are welcome to attend this camp. On ice sessions will focus on skating,skills,speed development,conditioning,timing,and agility. Off ice sessions will focus on hockey specific training.

Participants in this program will have the opportunity to impress invited Scouts early in the season as Local Scouts from the two leagues will be invited to evaluate the players prior to the start of the Bantam season. The on ice sessions will be conducted by NHL Legend, 7 time Stanley Cup Champion (New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, Colorado Avalanche) Member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, and former Head Coach of the NEW YORK RANGERS BRYAN TROTTIER, WINNIPEG JETS LEGEND THOMAS STEEN and 14 year Player Scout with the 2003, 2005, and 2009 WHL Champion and 2004 Memorial Cup Champions KELOWNA ROCKETS, SHAUN CHORNLEY. On ice sessions for the camp will be 10 hours total, and will focus on conditioning, skating, and skill development. The players will participate in numerous flow, timing, and skill development drills. Each session will include a controlled scrimmage to wind down each session. The off ice portion will be with our Strength & Conditioning Coach CHRISTINE DOERKSEN, who will fitness test the players at the beginning of camp then will be placed on a individually based fitness program. The off ice sessions will be 10 hours total bringing the total instructional time to 20 hours. Each player will recieve an official camp jersey, and a t-shirt or cap. All players who register will be eligible to win an autographed KELOWNA ROCKETS, 2009 WHL Championship Jersey. The cost of the camp is $345.00 plus GST. Hockey Dad’s & Hockey Legends

Fantasy Camp

This camp if offered to hockey Dad’s and hockey fans with the dream to play alongside NHL Legends. On Day 1 (Aug, 24, 2010) Campers will participate in a two-hour fun skills session (run by New York Islanders Director of Player Development Bryan Trottier). The session will be conducted like an NHL Practice. On day 2 (August 25, 2010) Campers will participate in a fun “Stanley Cup Challenge Scrimmage” and play with NHL Legends Bryan Trottier, Thomas Steen and others TBA. The Legends will be wearing their vintage NHL Jerseys.

After the game, all players will attend the Canad Inns Tavern United, 1824 Pembina Hwy, for the Night Out with Hockey Legends. The evening will include Autographs, Photographs with the Legends and a Replica Stanley Cup with a Stanley Cup Ring, Story Telling and a Sports Memorabilia Auction.

Campers will receive an Islanders or Jets Practice Jersey, 4 hours on ice with the Hockey Legends, and an autographed Bryan Trottier Poster, personalized to the camper, plus more.

$345.00 + (GST $24.15) Per Player.
